Pharmacy Direct notice on delivery of medication
04 September 2017Pharmacy Direct has noted with concern matters raised by some customers in social and mainstream media.
Pharmacy Direct has a proud 13-year track record of on time medicine deliveries of 99% and every effort is made to maintain this.
Most of the issues raised by customers relate to co-payments that are due (the portion of the medicine cost that is not covered by the medical scheme) and outstanding valid medicine prescriptions. We therefore want to urge customers to check if their prescription with Pharmacy Direct is still valid or whether a co-payment is payable should there be a delay in the delivery their medicines. Pharmacy Direct informs all customers through various alerts, including SMS, on what is required for them to timeously receive their next medicine delivery.
We value every customer in our care and want to assure all our customers that we take the issues raised very seriously and are attending to each complaint received.
